Have you ever asked yourself, “Is this really all there is?”

Look, there’s no easy way to say this: The times they are a-changin’.

You can feel it, big time. Especially in your work life.

You thought this career was “the one,” but over the years, it’s slowly stopped feeling like your perfect match.

Your colleagues have dropped away. Your favorite mentors have hung up their hats. And your passion? It’s sauntered right out the door with them.

And you’re starting to seriously wonder whether you’re really leaving a legacy you can be proud of.

So you’ve started to question, well, pretty much everything.

And the one thing that keeps coming up is:

What am I going to do with the rest of my life? (Because surely, it’s NOT retire to some remote island to sip pina coladas…yet.)

Hi, I’m Lynne Dominick, Business Solution Strategist and Transformational Life Coach and I get it. I’ve been at the top of the pack. I’ve led award-winning sales staffs and held fancy titles like Associate Publisher and Advertising Director at national glossies. I’ve helped rake in and grow revenue by the multi-millions. I’ve loved my job with a deep, undying devotion.

And yet, just three years ago, I was right where you are. Standing on a precipice – feeling like something was changing and there had to be more out there for me…but having no clue what that was or how to get it.

Today, I’m a career alchemist, professional idea-generator and personal growth strategist (among other things) who lends a helping hand to (other) women in transition so they can reinvent themselves, and, if they elect to do so, work with me to launch their own beauty business!

I help women intentionally create the “rest of their lives” with the two P’s – passion and purpose.

But I’m not here to convince you to quit your job tomorrow. Or pack your bags for an Eat, Pray, Love moment (unless you’re into that).

What I am here to do is reignite your zest for life and get you fired up about what’s yet to come. I’m here to get you thinking and excited about what you want to do and where you want to go next. And most importantly, I’m here to support you as you take the “right” next step for you.

Even if you don’t have a clue what that looks like. Yet!

Because one thing I know for sure? Time is still on your side.

Now, For A Little Story Called ‘How Lynne Got Her Swagger Back’…

Once upon a time, things were different.

A few decades back, women joined the workplace in droves. We climbed the ranks at big corporations like no big deal, and we secured positions of power (and all the accolades, awards and Birkin bags we set our sights on).

Things were great. Spirits were high. And we were – as the kids say – killing it.

And then? Technology showed up.

Don’t get me wrong: Tech has transformed the workplace in incredible ways.

But now, there are fewer jobs, the workplace environment has changed and we are scared to ask the boss for that well-deserved raise. We may even be freaking out that even after 20+ loyal years at our company we are going to be the next one to get the boot.

And maybe worst of all, watching our friends, mentors and beloved colleagues turn in notices or walk into the CEO’s office never to return to their well-adorned desks.

At least that’s what happened to me, anyway.

As the shoes I filled got bigger, I felt smaller. I was more and more isolated (who knew no one invites the boss to happy hour?) and the warm and fuzzy “I’m-part-of-a-team” feelings I used to relish? They faded fast, as technology took over and a younger generation filled the cubicles around me, hidden behind their digital walls.

Nope, things just weren’t what they used to be.

But let’s be honest: The world doesn’t work in reverse. Life is never going to go “back to the way it was.”

And so, master of positivity that I am, I eventually realized I couldn’t fight the change anymore. I had to embrace it.

And yet…I couldn’t really figure out how to move onto the next chapter, because I didn’t even know what that looked like!

Here I was – a woman who led sales staff at the likes of ELLE, SELF and InStyle, and yet I couldn’t figure out “what to do with my life” now that ‘life’ looked different.

My ego hated it. It’s hard to admit you might not have the answers when you’re so used to having them nailed. It’s scary to feel like you can always “make it work” (‘it’ being pretty much anything) and now for some reason, you can’t. It sucks to feel like you’re halfway through your life and having to start fresh – stumbling (not-so-gracefully, might I add) into unknown territory.

But finally, after more than two and a half years of missteps, of “playing around” with the idea of entrepreneurship and “starting over” and doing something meaningful, I realized I owed it to myself to do what I wanted to do.

I owed it to myself to figure it out. To commit. And to go for it – win or lose.

And as I tip-toed out of my well-paying, well-respected job and into the unknown, a whole new world opened up to me.

And the rest, as they say, is herstory.

Today, I spend every single day helping women create their own happily ever afters just like I created my own.

Sometimes they waltz on out of their 9-5s forever. Sometimes they rearrange the entire structure of their departments so they don’t have to. And sometimes they do hop on a plane for some exotic remote island with plans to sip pina coladas on the beach all day (no judgment).

But no matter what they do, they do it with an overwhelming sense of fulfillment.

Because THAT is how the next phase is supposed to feel.

If you’re tired of chasing an undying feeling to find something better.

If you’re so over questioning your purpose and your choices every single day.

And if you’re hungry to make a difference in your life….

I can help guide you toward the light at the end of the tunnel.

Honey, it ain’t over til it’s over.

And that I can promise.

Lynne Dominick is a personal growth strategist, creative lightworker, positivity ninja and transformational life coach for women in career or life transition who are ready to define and create what they want from “the rest of their lives.”

A true believer that it’s never too late to make a major change, Lynne sashayed away from the corporate world and more than two decades of experience leading award-winning sales teams at top publications like ELLE, SELF and InStyle, to embrace her life’s purpose as a transformational coach. Today, she now helps other women get their “swagger” back and take the next step in their careers (and lives) with purpose.

Lynne launched Kismet Alchemy Coaching and the Beauty of Transformation Consultancy to help women start their own business and enjoy success by living a more abundant, vibrant, fulfilling and financially rewarding life at any age; incorporating a holistic approach to mind, body and business.

And when she’s not helping women make their own big moves? Lynne is an avid reader, regular globetrotter and aspiring photog (she has thousands in your personal library). She also loves to give back to her community and the world. (And truth be told, if she’s not doing any of those things, it’s probably because she’s somewhere savoring a hunk of dark chocolate – the one thing she pretty much can’t live without.)
